My name is Paula Stoddard, and recently our family relocated from the Pacific Northwest to Bentonville, AR, the foot hills of the beautiful Ozark mountains.

I started quilting in 1994, when my youngest was a baby. I quickly became addicted and frantically worked to build my stash! A few years later I was lucky enough to work at my local quilt shop, where I learned everything that I could, and met the greatest ladies in the world.

While working at the quilt shop, many quilters would come in asking about local machine quilters. After a while, I thought to myself, “I can do that”. I started Pacific Patchwork as a longarm quilting business, which after a few years transformed into a quilt pattern design business.

All along the way, my family has been involved with all aspects of the business. My husband Dan is my computer genius, providing computer support, web development, and photography. Most importantly, putting up with all of my computer “issues”. (of which I have many!) My three children, Brady, Shelby, and Hannah, help with all of the pattern folding, stuffing, and boxing. What would I do without them?
